Javascript Too Slow

If you expect your pages to be viewed on mobile kit such as Apple's Iphone try to avoid Javascript, as apart from the well known risks it's far slower than native execution. If something happens "in a blink" on an ordinary PC, blink 80 to 100 times to see how much longer it takes on a mobile device.

According to Netcraft a security researcher found an XSS Scripting Vulnerability on Paypal's site. The problem is doubly embarrassing, because Paypal just a few weeks ago aired the opinion that browsers which don't support Extended Validation SSL Certificates would be banned, forgetting that security begins at home.

Using unsanitised data on the web is as dangerous as executing unknown code from unknown sources. You get an even fiercer mix when pairing the two. Even Governments can't help then. In fact, nobody can.
